Well it seems as if fall is coming early this year in Ukraine. Or maybe it always gets this cool this early in September. It certainly beats the heat and the mosquitoes. That’s for sure. It continues to be cool in the mornings and it warms a bit in the afternoon with the heat of the sun.



Today Andrew was much more playful and energetic today than yesterday. When I walked into his group room to pick him up this morning, I picked him up out of his playpen and he started laughing, squealing and happily patting my shoulders with his hands. The caretakers got such a kick out of him and his reaction. We all laughed at his gleefulness.



We stayed inside this morning for a while until it warmed up outside. Andrew was playing with his toy duck and his yellow chair. We were helping him get into the chair and pushing to the back of the chair so he wouldn’t fall over. Well, since Andrew likes to make everything into a game, he kept inching his way towards the edge of the chair and would just sit on the edge until I would push him back by his belly to sit back. He thought that was funny so he kept doing it.



Also, he was playing with the stuffed duck that my mom bought for him. I was showing him how to cuddle with the ducky since it is so soft. Finally, he gave it a hug and since I was calling it Donald Duck he would say Dau Dau as if he was saying Donald Duck imitating me.
