We got Andrew's birth certificate and passport today! WHOO, WHOO!! Hallelujah!! This is day, September 15th is our official Gotcha Day as all of the adoption community calls it. It is the day when Andrew is officially ours and we can take him out of the orphanage! We will celebrate this day every year as the day Andrew became our son...kind of like a birthday. WE will leave Andrew in the orphanage until tomorrow though because we have a lot of running around to do to go shopping for donations to the orphanage and getting Andrew's airline ticket and shopping for gifts for his caretakers. So it will be easier to wait until we are ready to hop the train to Kiev which we picked up today to leave Dnipropetrosvk at 5:00 and head to Kiev for the last leg of our journey...the Medical exam and picking up Andrew's Visa at the US Embassy or Consulate on Tuesday. We're almost home.
